I am relatively new to SQL with experience with SQL Server 2000. My work area
is moving to SQL 2005 Server and I want to study to take the Next Generation
Exam 70-431. Can anyone offer a plan on how to study. What books? What other
study guides to get ect? Time required, best way to study (boot camp, online,
classes ect.)

Well, what do you want? Do you just want the certification, or do you
really want to know what's new with SQL Server, or do you want to
refresh your knowledge? Try Itzik's Inside T-SQL Querying and Inside
T-SQL Programming. When you see something you only slightly understand,
try it out on your workstation and get comfortable with it. It will
take you as much or as little time as you want to put into it. As far
as just getting the cert, what's the point, really?
